Southern Pine Electric Power Association has accomplished the difficult task of restoring electric service to its members, who can receive service at this time.

Although we celebrate this accomplishment, we realize that our electrical system has been devastated, meaning that it will be some time before it is fully restored.

From time to time over the next few months, you may experience brief outages. These outages will be necessary in order to continue repair work and upgrade portions of the system.

“We appreciate the patience of our members, and ask for their understanding as we continue to rebuild the system,” General Manager Don Jordan said.

“Also, I would like to personally commend our employees and visiting crews for their hard work and dedication during this time,” Jordan added. “Southern Pine employees have experienced many struggles themselves, but they remain committed to the task of repairing our electrical system and rebuilding their local communities.”

If you are still experiencing an outage at this time and your home is safe to receive electricity, please contact your local district office.
