The Magnolia Beef and Poultry Expo is held in April at the Smith County Ag Complex in Raleigh, Mississippi. This event includes a trade show and offers educational seminars for beef and poultry producers. The trade show features local, national and international exhibitors with agricultural equipment, pharmaceuticals for cattle and other information. Seminar topics include animal disposal, alternative feeds, energy efficiency, and marketing cattle.
The event is sponsored by the Mississippi State University Extension Service; Jasper, Newton, Rankin, Scott, Simpson and Smith counties; and Community Bank. For details, contact your local Extension office or Community Bank.
